Yolanda Foster Changing Last Name Back to Hadid — But Why?
There’s going to be many changes in Yolanda Foster’s life — especially when people start calling her Yolanda Hadid again!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Andy Cohen on the February 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live what helped her make the decision to revert her last name.
"I talked about it with my kids,” the 52-year-old revealed. “I never dropped the name Hadid because I have three children with that last name, and I asked should I go back to van den Herik. And they said, 'No, you're our mommy, and we have the same last name.’”
So it sounds like Gigi, Bella, and Anwar helped their mom decide to go back to the last name she shared with their father, Mohamed, to whom she was married from 1994 to 2000.
As for whether Yolanda will be using her old/new last name when meeting potential suitors, that’s a bridge she hasn’t crossed yet.
"I haven't tried it yet," she admitted. "I'm still at home trying to get well."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
